Although Chorley has been affected like most small Northern towns by the recession there are some little gems here not to be missed. Apart from the restaurants of which there seem to be many for a small place

The cosy cafe is a place to meet and greet friends and enjoy hot and cold food, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, cakes, tea, coffee etc; all served in our delightful surroundings and making your selection and purchase a real social event.

 

Wonderful supermarket that uses fresh local produce, and engages within the commun/ties and farms within the area to produce goods embracing our
local businesses.

 

I would not normally rave about a fish and chip shop but this is FAB!! There are often queues outside at opening hours which has be a good sign

All their fish is pure white, thick in fillet and lightly battered and they bake their own flat steak and butter pies. They cook mashed potato, vegetables and even apple pie or crumble and custard for afters.
